Imagine this: a tiny puppy, just five weeks old, left alone in a diaper box. This was the reality for Frankie, a sweet Pit Bull puppy, abandoned outside a store in Buffalo, New York. His story is one of unexpected kindness and a new beginning that will warm your heart.
The Discovery
On a chilly day, Robin, a local business owner, was surprised to find a Pampers diaper box left outside her store. Curiosity led her to peek inside, where she found Frankie, the little Pit Bull puppy with eyes full of hope. Abandoned and alone, Frankie looked up at Robin, seeking comfort and safety.
A New Chance
Robin, who is also a supporter of West Side Cat Rescue, knew she had to act quickly. She called Jamie Mulligan, the founder of the rescue organization. Jamie, familiar with the rescue’s mission, recognized the urgency. The rescue group decided to step in and save Frankie, avoiding the crowded shelter where his future could be uncertain.
A Fresh Start
After a visit to the veterinarian to ensure he was healthy, Frankie was placed in a loving foster home with Jamie’s daughter. There, the little pup received a new name: Percy. His foster mom fell in love with him almost instantly. Percy’s new name marked the start of his new life, and Jamie’s daughter decided to officially adopt him.
A New Life Filled with Love
Now, in his forever home, Percy is surrounded by warmth and affection. The once-abandoned puppy has found his happily ever after, filled with love and care. Percy’s eyes, once full of longing, now sparkle with joy and contentment.
Percy’s journey from a diaper box to a loving home reminds us that every dog deserves a chance at happiness. Even in the darkest moments, kindness can lead to a new beginning. We’re grateful for the compassionate people who stepped in to give Percy the life he deserves.
