The staff at the facility tried to comfort her, and while playing with other dogs and enjoying the yard full of toys and sprinklers provided some distraction, it was never enough. Every time she returned to her kennel, the place where she last saw her mom, Maggie’s sadness resurfaced. The employees noted it was one of the saddest looks they had ever seen on a dog.
A Heartfelt Reunion
The staff at The Paws Pet Resort did their best to cheer Maggie up during her stay. They tried everything to make her feel comfortable and happy, but Maggie’s heart longed for her owner. The week felt like an eternity for Maggie, and she began to lose hope of ever seeing her beloved human again.
