So, while his parents slept, he quietly brought her inside and set her up in the bathroom.

Ubaldo played with the puppy and even made her a cozy sweater from an old sock. Despite growing attached, he knew the right thing was to return her to her family. The next day, a message on social media led Ubaldo to the puppy’s real owner, who lived nearby.
Before saying goodbye, Ubaldo played with her one last time in the yard, using her favorite tennis ball. When he finally returned her, he learned that her name was Bubba.
